I loved the "sci-fi in real life" aspect of the story

I loved the "sci-fi in real life" aspect of the story. There were really cool ideas firmly planted in reality. It also had some deep emotional moments. The way the main characters' friendship blossomed was very sweet, yet not dripping with romance. A great read for teens and young adults, and anyone who feels invisible in their own life.
