You can find a better book.

This is my required text for hydraulics. There's not a lot of examples or practice problems. Also difficult to follow what ther're trying to convey. I'm going to have to buy another book to get through this class.

I bought the third edition many years ago and I loved this book. The new edition improves the previous one. Unfortunately, as the authors said, some topics have been excluded in order to keep the book in a limited number of pages. A key topics excluded is water quality, it’s a peaty. However, the authors have done a great work exposing difficult topic for both levels of readers: undergraduate students and professionals.
