Good Resource

Trading the Iron Condor Confidently was a great find. It explained several things about the differences in indexes and settlement times that has been confusing to me in the past. I now appreciate the concern about the difference between the closure prices and the settlement prices the next day. It also mentions the tax advantage to the index trades.
I like the breakout of the 50-day versus the 30-day iron condor; I hadn't had that perspective before. It tells you why they are different and how to enter the trades for each time period. It offers a variety of ways to supervise the trade once it is in play. You can be safe and set stops that take you out with a predictable and acceptable loss if necessary. Alternatively, there is a formula to determine when to take a corrective hedge at specific deltas. In fact, if you read the text carefully, you will see several different ways to hedge the iron condor in play. It is, however, careful to advise you to decide in advance how you will hedge and then stick with it. Although the book is short, it offers precise instruction on how to trade the condor and how to monitor. It is not full of mathematics or formulas, although you must know standard deviation. This should be in your trading platform.
I gave his method of trading tests by paper trading past data on the RUT and SPX during the worst periods of 2010. By diligently buying the appropriate long contracts at the prescribed points, then selling them back when I could, I did not lose money on the trades. Some of those time periods challenged both the put and call sides of the condor. These trades could have been disastrous if not managed well.
All in all, the book quickly provides details of trading the iron condor. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't already know what vertical spreads are and have a little trading theory under your belt. However, if you have traded the iron condor before and want to take your options trading to the next level, I highly recommend this.

I wish I could get my money back

While I won't say this 15 page text is worthless, it is far from a valuable text. Even at $10, it is very overpriced.
I recommend Profiting with Iron Condor Options: Strategies from the Frontline for Trading in Up or Down Markets.
The latter text is a full-blown book with infinitely more detail and explanations.

Excellent Recipe Book for Trading Iron Condors!!

If you are familiar with what an Iron Condor is and want precise entry, and more importantly, exit criteria, then I highly recommend this book. It's cheap, it's a quick read, and it's the recipe you've been looking for!
